Dana Cohen is a qualified and devoted marriage and family therapist who has dedicated the past 17 years to serving those in both the mental health and substance abuse fields. She holds a Masters degree in Human Sexuality Education from Widener University and a second Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from La Salle University. Her credentials have provided her with a systemic framework and evidence based practice helping guide families and couples through their recovery process. Her inspiration to work with families comes from experience as an assessment counselor at a residential setting treating substance use disorders. Over the years, Dana has taken her skills and experience to members of the community where she engages in various speaking commitments to local rehabs, colleges,hospitals, and various agencies in the community. She has been on the forefront in developing educational seminars to grandparents raising their grandchildren as a result of substance use disorders. She has presented at both state and nation wide conferences. Cohen is an educator, a therapist innovator, and advocate for families.
